What is 2FLY Final Approach?
The Final Approach Airline Programme is a structured airline-focused pathway specifically designed for aspirational UK modular students who meet the requirements to commence their final phases of UKCAA or Dual UKCAA / EASA commercial flight training. Its unique features include unsecured funding options and a conditional airline linked final phase of APSMCC training.
From the moment you start your Final Approach course, you will be learning to think, operate and perform like an airline pilot. While undergoing advanced flight training using airline standard operating procedures, you will be mentored by a current line pilot in a variety of disciplines designed to equip you with the tools required to gain a first officer position. This includes CV writing, interview preparation and interview techniques.
Minimum requirements:
- 150 hours total time* including 100 hours PIC
- Valid Class 1 medical
- Private Pilot’s Licence (PPL) + Night rating
- ATPL Theoretical Knowledge exams
*some additional hour building may be required prior to CPL skills test
A short pre-enrolment screening process will take place with a 2FLY training adviser, who will examine your training to date, and in particular, your ATPL Theoretical Knowedge exam results.
What is included in Final Approach?
119 hours advanced flight training to achieve CPL/ MEPR, MEIR / APS-MCC + (A)UPRT as follows:
- CPL training – 25 hours flight
- Multi-engine piston training – 6 hours flight
- Instrument training – 45 hours flight and simulator
- APSMCC training – 40 hours simulator
- (A)UPRT training – 3 hours flight

EXETER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT UK
With all commercial flight training carried out at Exeter International Airport, just outside the Cathedral University town on Exeter on the south coast. At 2FLY/ ASW you have access to:

- FNPT II flight training simulator
- Flight Ops
- Multiple briefing rooms

DUBLIN, IRELAND
All final phase jet training (AUPRT / APS-MCC) is carried out in Ireland with our training partner Airline Flight Academy (AFA). AFA is an ATO owned and operated by Ryanair and is located just a few miles from Dublin International Airport. At this state of the art facility you will have access to:
